Finally...

Posted by DJLomka - May 4th, 2023

Hi everyone, it's me DJ Lomka (or not). Previously I was sitting with an old and barely working Intel Core i3-4170 computer. It seemed to be able to handle all tasks, but we are growing with time and want to learn new things.

Well, after all, I decided with my father to make me an upgrade and replace my computer to a more efficient and new.

Well, here it is...

As recently as the day before yesterday (at the time of the post), I had some help finally building a new PC, because I don't trust my hands to build really something very expensive.

And so, here are its specifications:

  • CPU: Intel Core i5-12600k
  • Motherboard: MSI PRO Z690-A
  • RAM: 32GB (Kingston Fury Beast DDR4 2x16 3600MHz)
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti 12GB (MSI Ventus 3X OC)
  • SSD: Samsung EVO 970 Plus 500GB
  • PSU: Chieftec PowerUP 750W
  • Case: Zalman N4 Rev.1
  • Cooler: Deepcool AG400
  • Everything else from the old system. For example HDDs.

I hope that it will be enough for the rest of my purposes. Although I don't have very many of them. Goodbye, everyone.

UPD 1.

I've updated again. This time I have a relatively new GPU - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti

Nice, nice. What GPU were you running before?

AMD Radeon RX 580 4 GB. It also stands in the new PC, because it is quite expensive to buy a new one.

@DJLomka Cool, I also think getting a new GPU is overkill. I still run a Nvidia GeForce 980 GTX Classified, used to have it in Sli, but wanted a new PC so the old one became the gpu donor.

incredible! powerful cpu that you now manage, you deserved this:)
